Achewood is a webcomic created by Chris Onsta] which has been running since October 2001. It is named for the fictional town in which it is set, and also for an imaginary absinthe-like liquor.

Premise

The comic is mainly concerned with the everyday (and not so everyday) adventures of a group of anthropomorphic stuffed toys, robots, and cats who converse in a peculiar patois, which helps to give the strip an certain charm to some of its readers.
