Runner (real name Jeff Christner), is a furry residing in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, USA.

Fandom involvement[edit]

Runner's introduction to the furry fandom came in the late 1980s, with the purchase of some Albedo comics and a role playing game of the same name. In early 1997, he began playing Furcadia and noticed a shortage in the rodent species. The rodents that were around were constantly harassed by the other species.

The name Runner was chosen, and the mouse species. Runner has little time to play Furcadia anymore, but he does attend Further Confusion in San Jose on a yearly basis.

Convention attendance[edit]

AURA[edit]

AURA (A United Rodent Anarchy) is a Furcadia guild founded in 1997 by Runner with his ex-wife Holiday, to help bolster the population of rodents on Furcadia.

AURA declined after Runner announced that AURA was an experiment to see if an organization can run with a leader but without any of the membership knowing there was a leader. However, this annoucement was false, made by Runner to prove a point to a specific furre.[citation needed]

Following this, AURA went into limbo for a couple of months, but was reborn after reconstruction by Runner’s ex-wife Holiday, and with Runner's experience.
