By Year[edit]

The COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation or postponement of a multitude of furry conventions including Furnal Equinox, Thaitails and Gateway Furmeet.[1] The pandemic also is attributed to the rise of online furry conventions like Cozy Con and Down Home FurCon. Also as a result of the pandemic, the 2019 Ursa Major Awards were announced via an online presentation for the first time in its history.[2]

Effective February 1st, Dragoneer regained ownership of Fur Affinity from IMVU.[3]

Fenris Publishing acquired Rabbit Valley in October.[4]

Following staff upheaval, Corgi Events announced their disbanding after Sin City Murr Con's premiere event.[5]

Smartphone applications[edit]

Furry dating app Howlr ceased production at the end of February.[6]
